New toys that I shall never use.

I "recently" started my vinyl collection. What I am trying to do is get everything I can from The Nightmare Before Christmas items/series from different vinyl collections mostly from Funko and Vinylmation.

My sister years ago got me the Jack Skellington from Vinylmation at the Disney store in Downtown Disney Florida. Since then I wanted to keep collecting all the NBC items. It is not easy and I just want certain items not really the whole collection.

Let me explain something whenever I go to Downtown Disney I always search for the NBC items and buy them cause they go fast and then people sell them very expensive... well depends but their "value" really spikes up fast it seems. So this time when I went I was sad cause I believe I wouldn't be able to find something but I walked a little further and went to the store and yes hit lottery. I don't follow the whole Vinylmation franchise so I had no idea the item was part of the collection and so on... a very "long" story but I will give you the actual name of the item and you can do the research on your own perhaps (?)
"The October edition of the 2013 Poster Series Vinylmation will be released this morning at both D-Street locations.  The Jack Skellington Vinylmation will be LE 2013 and retail for $14.95 each. Vinylmation artist Eric Caszatt has designed a great looking Vinylmation that may sell very well here just a few weeks from Halloween." - VM World

As a bonus to my vinyl collection I found this cute little playing cards... also from The Nightmare Before Christmas theme. I loved them I didn't and won't be opening them so I guess I shall never find out how they actually look. Sorry about that but I will post you how the this thing is. Check it out.

B1A4's Boys Over Flowers.

B1A4's Special DVD (Boys Over Flowers parody)... this is one of the most hilarious things I've seen in a long time. One of the many... many reasons why I like B1A4 is this. They are funny and give their best even when doing a parody of an already "classic" and so much loved Korean Drama called Boys Over Flowers (based a Japanese manga called Hana Yori Dango) which was and is still is HUGE today. The story of the Boys Over Flower drama is quite long but you can visit this link provided to read on that. I'm not a huge fan of the Korean version I enjoyed more the Japanese drama Hana Yori Dango (all the parts) but that is another long story.

Cool facts about this DVD is that it was recorded in Macau. They traveled for promotions and while doing that they decided to do a parody of the drama. Sandeul got the role of the girl Geum Jan Di and Baro got the role of arrogant Goo Jun Pyo and Jinyoung got the role of Yoon Ji Hoo they are the leads of the drama also they have a "love" triangle. CNU and Gongchan characters have no importance whatsoever sadly but they are funny so yes it was good.... "Bwa? What?". ince they are so unique and funny I knew this was going to be a blast and I was totally right.

The DVD comes with a photo book and 2 DVDs. One of the DVD has the parody and behind the scenes while filming it. The other DVD has videos of the travel and random things they did while visiting Macao. B1A4 just wanted to share something funny with Bana. The photo books will is cute and has lots of photos of the guys while filming and on the other activities while on Macau. This was recorded way back in September 2012 and they released it just this past November 2013.

I got Snow White.

Got this lovely Snow White and Evil Queen vinyl toys from Funko as a birthday present from a good friend. It is good to know that people ready your status on facebook and actually take notice of the little things you add on the side. Thanks a lot and I loved it. You know who you are.

Happy birthday to me.

Just turned 35 and family got me an awesomely cute cake this year. Very thankful for a lot of things. We had a busy end in 2012 and a harsh start in 2013 but we made it through. Thank God for my family and close friends for all their love and patience.

Lana's Tropico.

I am  not a fan of Lana del Rey but this short film is beautiful.
The music drives you through all this emotions while watching it.
Found it pretty nice.

I did looked up her albums and found great things. Young & Beautiful for The Great Gatsby OST was spectacular. But then again that OST also has Florence & The Machine on it. So totally worth it.

Vinyl Toys...

I have been wanting to start a vinyl toy collection for quite some time. It started a few years ago when my sister got me the Vinylmation Jack Skellington at the Disney Store in Downtown Disney when she went of vacation. I still keep it in the box. I have never opened it.

Last summer we went again to Downton Disney and I got a Vinylmation Popcorn of Jack Skellington at the store to add to the collection. It looks pretty cool. I did unbox it to take the photo, but it is back to the box. So it is safe.

Now I started my Funko Vinyl Toy collection with Jack Skellington and the plan is to get all the Nightmare Before Christmas Funko Toys. I might take time and money but I'll make sure I get them. They have done a pretty good work with the series so it is worth it.

Drip... The Show.

Got to meet up with Josh after a like two years of not seen him... (he lives in Florida, USA) We finally managed to spend some time together like in the good old days. I missed him a lot. He picked me up in the afternoon we went to Downtown Disney walk around and get updates on our lives. After that we got hungry went to Applebee's and got some food and did more talking. You know catching up work, life and all this cool things that make living... a living experience.

He got us tickets for a show in Orlando called DRIP. I already did my homework and looked up their info and they said it was the HOT thing to do in town. The also said that you would get all soaked in colorful water and perhaps even get some sand on you. My sneakers are white and they ended up red and blue because of the paint. They will get you soaked on water so do not wear stuff you are planning on using later on. This is not a modeling contest show they want you to be there and be part of it.  Drip is located on the International Drive you can check their info here.

I was really happy that Josh came up with this plan. Totally different from what I normally do on vacations with my family. Would totally go there again. We had lots of fun it is not your traditional sitting show. You get there early write on the walls and paint your clothing get some drink before the show starts and of course after the show too. It is a dance performance.  There is a band playing while the performance takes place. It is a love story and they do get you involved on it. Some of the props they use are water balloon, ropes, buckets, water... lots of water and sand. It seems that is part of their techniques... sand and water in dancing.

The place is small you can barely fit 200 people there but that is part of the experience. It is art, dance, music and drink in one place. If you ever get the opportunity to attend this show do so. Get your tickets with time cause since the venue is small they go out really fast. The show is for people 21 and up.... yes it is a grown up show. You can watch some of their performances here.

we be tripping... thanks to the flash...

His shirt after the show...
