The Jungle Book

The Jungle Book

So there is this book called The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. The book is a classic that is why I choose it to "remake" it or redesing it for a class. We are used to see a very classic cover where you find animals, jungle and all that related. So knowing that already i tried not to use that. The main idea was to make it look different so that if somebody see it on the stand of the library or bookstore they will say ouhh this must be a new Jungle book or a remade or something interesting no the same old classic. But it is.. but since the reader found it interesting maybe it will be more interesting. Also this design can atrack new readers since the cover should be more atractive so people get interested on it and get it at least to see the cover of the book then proceed to read it and check the book. I had another idea but i wont say it here since it is mine [jaja] and anything can happen i will keep it to myself.

What you are about to see from left to right are :

first row: back cover and the cover
second row: Illustrations of the characters Akela and Shere Khan
third row: Illustration of the characters Mowgli and Baloo.
